Repair of Concrete Crib Retaining Wall – Lake Macquarie Square – Charter Hall

DRB Consulting Engineers was engaged by Charter Hall to find a solution to repair a failing concrete crib wall at Lake Macquarie Square.  The crib wall was located partially within the Council road reserve and a replacement wall presented many challenges with regard to approvals, existing services and costs.  DRB, utilising a trusted project team, undertook Design and Documentation of a new concrete sleeper and steel beam retaining wall, located in front of the crib wall, to support the failed section.  DRB looked after every aspect of the project from Geotechnical Investigations, Design, Tender Assessment and Construction Management.
